Advocate

I am a strong Advocate for 'the Gift' usually known as Dyslexia as I have the gift myself.

Many people believe that Dyslexia is a disability when in fact, it is nicknamed the gift for a reason. Dyslexia literally means ‘trouble with words’. It is a term used to describe difficulties with reading, writing, spelling and mathematical symbols.

However, Dyslexic people are visual, multi-dimensional thinkers. We are intuitive and highly creative, and excel at hands-on learning. Because we think in pictures, it is sometimes hard for us to understand letters, numbers, symbols, and written words.

Tapping into the way dyslexics think may help solve some of the world's remaining mysteries - at least that's what some Gurus in the dyslexic world say.
